Role Summary
The operational manager will manage and develop global waste management contracts on the Ile de France - West perimeter (sites in the following departments: 78,91, 93, 72, 53). The operational manager manages the Site Manager and Operations Assistant teams in his region.
Role of local manager
- Management of operational teams in its region.
- Recruitment management in conjunction with the HR team: selection of profiles, interviews, etc.
- Train and ensure the training of operational teams in line with operating missions
- Ensure the development of the skills of your team and guarantee the expansion of their missions.
- Be a force for proposals for the operational organization of the region: definition of the missions and objectives of the members of its teams in conjunction with management.
- Monitor and manage responses to calls for tenders for scope extensions and one-off offers
- Promote the sharing of good practices and the transmission of information within your team
- Manage specific projects in order to optimize VPIS' operational know-how

You may also be required to travel occasionally to partner sites or to subcontractors. For this, the B license is necessary for this position.

Responsibilities
Contract monitoring role
- Ensure the proper execution of contractual services on customer sites, in compliance with operational, financial and QSE rules.
- Guarantee the economic and operational performance of contracts,
- Prepare and lead contract steering committees with the client, partners and subcontractors.
- Participate in the drafting of customer contracts and subcontracting contracts in conjunction with the purchasing and legal departments.
- Develop the commercial relationship and ensure good relations between the VPIS team and the client
- Seek a match between customer needs and operational and financial constraints
-Organize team meetings, contract reviews and process reviews with site managers
Role of data consolidation
- Ensure reporting and consolidation of data for its scope (finance, QSE, progress plan, etc.)
- Establish and contribute to the establishment of dashboards for its scope.
Requirements
- Are you a graduate of a Bac+5 university course or from an engineering school in the field of the environment?
- Do you have at least 5 years of significant experience in management in an industrial environment, waste management or environmental services?
- With good interpersonal skills, are you comfortable in customer relationship management and team management?
- Are you recognized for your analytical skills and know how to be proactive?
