OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY ENGINEER - BARUERI

Role Summary

Ensure that the company meets occupational health and safety requirements when carrying out its activities; control potential and real losses of processes, products and services by identifying, determining and analyzing causes of losses, establishing preventive and corrective action plans; manage work and environmental safety activities and coordinate equipment and training; issue and disseminate technical documents, such as reports, risk maps and contracts.

FUNCTIONS

Develop and execute draft standards and systems for occupational safety programs, developing studies and establishing methods and techniques to prevent workplace accidents and occupational illnesses

Monitor and supervise the execution of works within the scope of occupational health and safety

Evaluate and issue an opinion on the situation of buildings, renovations of owned and rented buildings and work environments within the Institution

Control potential and real losses of processes, products and services and, when identifying them, determine and analyze their causes, establishing preventive and corrective action plans

Develop, test and supervise systems, processes and work methods, Monitor work and environmental safety activities

Carry out educational campaigns on accident prevention, organizing lectures and publicity in the internal and external media, distributing publications and other informative material, to raise awareness among workers and the public in general

Plan various projects and activities and coordinate teams, training and work activities, Issue reports as a technical assistant and publish technical documents such as reports, risk maps and contracts

Promote the application of safety devices, PPE, determining functional technical aspects and other characteristics, to prevent or reduce the possibility of accidents

Evaluate technical reports and issue opinions and activity reports, Participate in meetings, forums, working groups, commissions, to which you are appointed

Provide technical guidance regarding compliance with the provisions of the Regulatory Standards - NRs - and Health Codes applicable to the functional activities carried out in the Institution, with regard to occupational health and safety, Prepare and propose
