Role Summary

Within the Digital Platform Services entity, you will join the Transformation Development practice made up of around a hundred employees. You are joining the Observability offer.

We are looking for a Technical Expert in the world of observability to join our dynamic team. You have a key role in the expertise and development of the observability offer

Your role and missions

Concretely, what will your daily life be like?

As an Observability Technical Expert, you work for major clients.

Functional analysis and coordination

You master the field of observability and its challenges in complex environments.

You implement the means of collecting observability data within applications, infrastructures, dedicated tools and Cloud environments.

You monitor and improve the quality of observability data to ensure their relevance to business use cases.

You define and monitor Business Events in order to measure business KPIs and establish correlations between business events and IT metrics.

You design business value-oriented Dynatrace dashboards, relying on distributed traces and Business Events, in order to manage the performance of services in real time.

You work closely with the Business, Dev, Ops and SRE teams to define, map and report key indicators aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

You instrument and configure distributed tracing (services, asynchronous messages, queues, external calls) in order to identify bottlenecks and their impacts on business KPIs.

You correlate observability data with technical layers such as Kafka, iPaaS or Solace.

You use Dynatrace Grail and DQL to perform advanced analyzes on logs, metrics, traces and events and produce high value-added insights.

You analyze transactional flows and user behavior in order to identify anomalies, performance losses and points of friction in business journeys.

You define and implement intelligent SLOs to proactively detect service degradations and reduce MTTR.

You contribute to the industrialization of observability practices (tagging standards, trace propagation, SLO models, Dynatrace best practices) and support teams in their adoption.

Management & relations with stakeholders

You support clients in formalizing their needs related to observability and service performance.

You collect and analyze business needs in order to translate them into appropriate technical specifications.

You identify gaps in relation to key success factors and propose the necessary support actions.

You support more junior profiles in their development of skills on observability subjects.

You ensure regular reporting to stakeholders by highlighting the risks, issues and associated remediation plans.

Requirements

  • IT Fundamentals
  • Cloud experience (Azure / AWS / GCP…)
  • Mastery of Shell / Scripting (Linux / PowerShell / Python)
  • Network knowledge (protocols / standard network routing equipment)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD DevOps industrialization tools
  • Have +5 years in the deployment and configuration of observability solutions such as:
  • Dynatrace (Certified Associate or Professional)
  • Observability & Monitoring Platform: Datadog, Dynatrace Grail, Splunk, Newrelic, Appdynamics, Grafana, Prometheus …
  • AIOps: Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning Models, Automated Remediation, Root Cause Analysis, Forecasting, Agentic AI
  • Workflow Automation: Enhancing Operation Efficiencies with Dynatrace
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS (IaaS, PaaS Monitoring), GCP
  • Network Protocols: SNMP, TCP, UDP, LDAP, SMTP, HTTP
  • Database Management: Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL
  • Technical Leadership: Team Management, Vendor Management, Technical Advisory
  • Monitoring & Logging: Kubernetes, Docker, Logstash, logscale, Fluentd, Loki
  • Architecture & Design: Distributed Systems, Microservices, SRE Principles

Integration and MELT pipeline: Vector, Eventhub, Kafka, Logstash, Filebeat, API, Webhook, Custom scripts, Standard Connectors, PagerDuty, Slack, ServiceNow ITSM, Teams

  • Automation & Scripting: Ansible, Terraform. Shell
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, Argocd, Flux cd, Kubernetes
  • Excellent Troubleshooting: Skill to narrow down the root cause of problem and prevent recurrence
  • Performance Tuning: Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), Session Replay
  • Security & Compliance: Monitoring Security, Data Compliance, Incident Response
  • Alerting/ITIL tools: Everbridge, Pagerduty, Service Now
  • Stacks: Windows Server / IIS / .Net Linux / JEE apps server / Java
  • Professional Certifications: Cloud and Dynatrace
