Night shift group leader

Role Summary

For Eurofins Analytico we are (for expansion) immediately looking for a:

Group leader Pre-treatment evening/night shift

As a group leader (cooperating foreman) you coordinate the daily activities within your team in the evening/night shift between 5:45 PM and 2:15 AM. You act as the first point of contact for questions and problems from the team and you are an advisor to the department head.

Function

• You are the first point of contact for your team, guide teammates and solve more complex problems;
• You organize the staffing of the team as efficiently as possible, taking into account the number of employees present, breaks, knowledge of employees, etc.;
• You monitor compliance with the safety rules within the department;
• You monitor the quality of the work within the department, so that the work meets the standards;
• You think about improvements in the implementation process and make proposals to the Head of Department;

You monitor the operation of the equipment and establish contacts with external parties (such as technicians and suppliers) in consultation with the department head;

You are responsible for assessing the quality samples;

You conduct progress/POP and assessment discussions with your team;

You make proposals to optimize work processes, procedures and work instructions and record them.

Requirements

• Minimum MBO level 4 working and thinking level, preferably chemically oriented, but this is not a strict requirement;
• You have a hands-on mentality and like to set a pace;
• You have an eye for detail;
• Experience with LEAN principles is an advantage;
• You are a team player, have excellent communication skills, are proactive and quality and results-oriented;
• You have the ability to set priorities;
