As a Network and Technology Operations Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of a team of engineers in EMEA working on the frontline of our global security operations. You will help ensure that our global sensor infrastructure and data collection functions properly for the benefit of our customers. You will also work with our Engineering/R&D department to resolve product-related issues.

Your role as a Network and Technology Operations Engineer (m/f/d) is to carry out competent, professional and highly qualified analysis and troubleshooting of components used worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for analyzing and resolving issues related to:
  • Network detection and response components
  • Endpoint security solutions
  • Cloud integrations
  • Risk Scanner
  • You work with customers and internal teams on a daily basis.
  • You will support the design and implementation of our security solutions for customers and help various teams with questions about the backend of the Arctic Wolf Security platform.
  • Triaging customer inquiries, applying playbook-based solutions, documenting newly identified issues discovered during troubleshooting and tracking them to resolution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with a variety of different people and personalities. Effectively handling customer-reported issues until resolution is critical to success in this role.
  • You should understand Arctic Wolf's processes and systems in order to be able to assist customers with support requests.

This is what you bring with you

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline OR completed IT professional training with at least 2/3 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Good basic knowledge of networks.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems as well as Active Directory.
  • German and English skills at C1 level.
  • Advantageous
  • CCNA, Network+ or similar.
  • Good understanding of DHCP, DNS and VLANs.
  • Experience working in a Network Operations Center.
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages.

  • Experience with virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Firewalls and IDS/IPS.
  • Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Windows and Active Directory.
  • Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
  • MCSE or Active Directory MCP certification.
  • Deployment tools such as GPO, SCCM, Intune or Jamf.
  • Security+ certification.
