Role Summary
As an experienced Microsoft SQL Database Administrator within our Microsoft Community, you bear substantive responsibility for complex environments of customers in the public sector, finance and industry. You carry out these projects in-house as part of a stable team that has been known for 20 years for its collegial atmosphere and in-depth expertise in MS SQL Server.
In this role you combine the management of extensive databases with challenging migration and optimization processes. You ensure the stability of business-critical systems and work closely with specialists in SQL Server, Azure and other related technologies. Because Azure and DevOps are central to our strategy, you have every opportunity to deepen your expertise and officially validate it with Azure certifications.
What this means for you
You bear substantive responsibility for extensive Microsoft SQL Server environments for multiple customers.
You carry out complex installations, optimizations, consolidations and migrations in both on-premise and cloud environments.
You are responsible for the analysis and design of database solutions
You advise customers about changes and substantiate the impact and required effort based on your years of expertise.
You work on structurally improving and optimizing existing database environments, where you always have an overview of the bigger picture.
You are not limited to execution. You oversee the bigger picture, monitor quality and stability and make an active contribution to projects and change processes. Based on your experience, you bring peace, overview and substantive depth to complex database environments.
Requirements
- You have completed a technical higher vocational or university education (computer science, computer science)
- You have extensive experience as an MS SQL Server DBA and knowledge of multiple MS SQL versions up to and including the most recent
- As an MS SQL DBA you have extensive knowledge of SQL Server management, monitoring, migrations and consolidations and you can provide advice and carry out various database-related topics, such as security, performance, backup & recovery
- You are in possession of various Microsoft certifications, including Azure, or are willing to invest in them
- You want to be involved in the development of colleagues and our community
- Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written.
