Role Summary

Comply with the policies, standards, technical, operational, administrative and quality procedures applicable to your activities within the laboratory.

Ensure compliance with the code of ethics and maintenance of confidentiality of information; as well as the safety standards established by SGS Colombia in the work area.

Guarantee the supervision and control of sample reception activities.

Carry out temperature and humidity controls of the stability cabins and stability room and other areas in charge.

Ensure information provided by clients is entered into the system in a timely manner.

Maintain control over the use of reagents, materials, and laboratory supplies. Ensure, guarantee and comply with GLP, ISO 17025 and applicable regulations.

Receive and handle samples delivered by the client and used for analysis for both physicochemical and microbiological tests.

Store the samples on which the analyzes are carried out with their proper labeling for both physicochemical and microbiological tests.

Guarantee the correct management of the stability rooms, being clear about everything related to temperature and humidity control, ensuring their cleanliness.

Guarantee the tasks of the physical and/or chemical analyzes assigned within the laboratory.

Ensure adequate collection and preparation of samples for laboratory analysis.

Maintain information regarding laboratory activities in an orderly, clear and secure manner.

Deliver timely information to your immediate boss about any damage or anomalies that occur in the operation of the equipment, the status of the consumables necessary to ensure the proper development of your work, or any non-conforming product, complaint or claim from the customer.

Seek continuous improvement of activities and in the performance of their functions, actively participating in the proposal of preventive actions, corrective actions and improvement plans.

Ensure the proper management of all the equipment in your charge and the execution of the tasks to control its operation, efficiency and calibration, according to the procedures that SGS Colombia has established for this purpose.

Properly dispose of waste generated in the performance of their work.

Keep control and record of the audited inputs (under supervision of the laboratory analyst).

Scan the materials and supplies that must be ordered to place the order in the warehouse.

Ensure timely information to the Laboratory Head about any non-compliant product.

Ensure participation in scheduled internal and external audits; as well as in the detection of corrective, preventive actions and improvement plans.

Carry out the reception of the samples to be subjected to a stability study.

Check that the samples subjected to stability meet all the requirements for entry into the study.

Identify/verify that samples are identified according to the guidelines of this procedure.

Remove samples from the chambers according to the schedule established for each study

Store the samples from the stability studies under the conditions established for each case.

Keep the inventory of samples in the stability chambers updated.

Record in the corresponding Logs all events related to the stability cabinets such as opening, exit or entry of samples, failures, etc. Maintain records of the environmental conditions of the stability cabins.

Requirements

• Academic training: Recently graduated technician or professional in the area of microbiology or bacteriology
• Experience: 6 months to one year in related positions

Benefits

• Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm

Saturdays from 7:30 am to 12 noon

• 6-month fixed contract with probability of renewal
