Role Summary

Guarantee the correct execution of the tests in your work area, in a timely manner, safeguarding the quality of the results, the competence of the personnel who execute them, the equipment used, the environment and the safety of the personnel.

Act with impartiality, confidentiality and competence in the activities carried out in the laboratory.

Generate quality management system documents for your work area.

Implement the corrective action program that applies to your area of competence

Participate in management review meetings of the quality management system.

Request the necessary resources for the implementation of new methods and equipment, in accordance with the guidelines of the Laboratory Headquarters.

Direct the training program of the work team, ensuring through constant supervision that the staff is trained over time.

Ensure the delivery of analysis results in a correct and timely manner.

Define analysis priorities and work distribution.

Maintain official technical standards and all documentation for routine work available to personnel, ensuring their correct application

Manage compliance with the equipment verification, calibration and maintenance program, ensuring adequate information backup.

Prepare monthly productivity reports.

Supervise the proper use of PPE and work clothing of the staff in charge and compliance with hygiene and safety measures.

Promote the formation of a culture of safety and environmental risk prevention, in order to avoid incidents. If an incident occurs, it is responsible for investigating it with the support of the Operational Integrity team.

Requirements

Microbiologist, with experience in the industry (Pharma, environmental and food). With experience in BPL implementation, attention to internal audits before INVIMA.
