Metrological Assistant

Role Summary

Support and ensure the direct execution of the services requested by the client related to metrological verification according to internal standards and/or procedures.

Develop the activities given by the Metrological Verifier regarding verifications, gathering all possible and useful information on the operation carried out.

• Ensure that the task entrusted to you is known in detail so that it can be executed without setbacks.
• Implement seals and/or labels on the verified equipment according to the instructions of the metrological verifier.
• Properly handle the equipment and implements required and necessary for the development of metrological verification.
• Control the use and assignment of seal and label numbering.
• Maintain the vehicles, equipment and instruments, materials and accessories assigned for the execution of metrological verification activities in good working order.
• Feed the SIMEL and/or software with the administrative information of the establishment and/or the technical information of the instrument under test. If there is a need to complete handwritten documentation, it is also your responsibility.
• Enter data from the results obtained from the metrological verification into the computer system provided by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIMEL – Legal Metrology Information System) following the instructions given by the Metrological Verifier.
• Record in SIMEL the environmental conditions during the metrological verification activities of the assigned measuring instrument according to the indications given by the Metrological Verifier.
• Drive the assigned vehicle in a defensive manner as established by the internal regulations.
• Understand and interpret the Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct (Impartiality and Independence and Confidentiality) to ensure that people or organizations external to the organization cannot influence the results of the verifications carried out.

Requirements

• Academic training: Technical/technological bachelor's degree in some field of industrial application.
• C1 driving license.
• Military notebook.
• Experience: with 6 months of experience in any field of industry or service.
