Role Summary

Support and/or execute metallurgical comminution, flotation and hydrometallurgy tests in the laboratory. Among the main activities are considered:

Check the calibration, verification and operational status of the equipment.

Maintain order and cleanliness in the Laboratory and comply with Laboratory safety regulations.

Prepare reagents and standards for assays.

Carry out the mechanical preparation of the samples (Inventory, drying, crushing, homogenizing, pulverizing)

Carry out metallurgical tests in accordance with established procedures and instructions.

Carry out the necessary quality controls in the execution of the tests.

Report the data and information necessary for the evaluation of results in the records established in each process.

Participate in the development of techniques or methods to be used in the case of implementations.

Identify non-conformities or opportunities for improvement and propose corrective actions in the specific execution of their activities.

Requirements

• Graduated from technical and/or bachelor's degrees in Metallurgy or Chemistry.
• Minimum experience of 6 months in similar activities
• Knowledge of mineral processing.
• Great attention to detail and commitment to precision in sample handling and data recording
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays when necessary
• Physical ability to handle laboratory equipment and materials
• Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
