Metallurgy Project Supervisor

Role Summary

Evaluate the results of metallurgical tests to ensure the quality and compliance of the project, providing administrative and technical direction, complying with defined policies, standards and procedures.

Monitor the progress of projects according to defined procedures and protocols.

Review and/or prepare the technical report of results for sending to the client and the Commercial area.

Guide, train and coach the team in charge so that they manage and align with the defined procedures, instructions and work methods.

Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients.

Manage monthly project valuations.

Monitoring and coordination of activities with SGS subsidiaries and external suppliers together with project leaders.

Actively participate in the continuous improvement of projects.

Continuously analyze the results of metallurgical tests, as well as review project progress reports.

Requirements

Qualified Metallurgical Engineer with more than 05 years of experience leading metallurgical testing projects.

• Extensive knowledge of mineral processing
• High capacity for analysis, leadership, excellent communication at all levels
• Mastery of MS Office and English at an intermediate - advanced level
• Preferably using statistical software
