Mendix Developer

Role Summary

As a Mendix Developer you work on digital solutions that help organizations accelerate and improve their processes. You translate functional wishes into concrete applications and actively think about how technology can best be used to deliver value.

You are involved in the entire development process: from analysis and design to realization, testing and go-live. You work intensively with business stakeholders, architects and other developers. You understand the customer's context and know how to translate it into user-friendly and scalable solutions.

Within projects you are given responsibility for (partial) solutions and you contribute to the technical quality of the end product. You identify opportunities for improvement and think about optimizations, both in the application and in the team's working methods.

Requirements

These are your strengths

• You get energy from building. You don't just think in terms of screens and microflows, but in solutions that really help users. You switch easily between business and technology and feel responsible for what you deliver.
• You enjoy working in a team, but you take responsibility independently. Quality is important to you, as is continuing to learn.
• You have completed a higher vocational or university education in an IT field and have a solid foundation in software development
• You have at least 2 years of experience with Mendix and are able to independently develop functionalities within a project
• You have experience building web and/or mobile applications and understand how they meet user needs
• You have knowledge of integrations (such as REST APIs and databases) and can make systems communicate with each other
• You master the Dutch language at a minimum B2 level and can communicate effectively with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders
