Requirements

As a medior Frontend developer at JSRoots, an assignment can include the following:

• Rewriting an existing frontend application to a modern framework such as React or Vue.
• The implementation of a design system in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
• Optimizing performance and accessibility according to the latest web standards.
• Setting up a CI/CD pipeline for automatic testing and deployment.
• Integration with backend APIs and designing efficient state management solutions.
• Developing or expanding automated tests and test strategies.
• Discussing and implementing security best practices in the frontend codebase.
• What are your qualifications?

As a medior frontend developer we expect you to:

• Have at least 3-5 years of work experience.
• Have experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular.
• You are strong in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Have experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Vuex or MobX.
• Have knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress or Testing Library.
• Are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and the deployment process.
• Have experience working in an agile scrum environment.
• Have experience working according to DevOps principles.
• You can transfer knowledge and experience to team members and junior developers.
• Are enthusiastic about user experience and accessibility (a11y).
• Have a positive mindset and solution-oriented attitude.
• Able to work effectively with UX/UI designers and backend developers.
• Knowledge of a backend programming language such as Java, Python or Node.js is an advantage.
• Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant equivalent education.
• You speak at least Dutch at B-1/B-2 level or it is your mother tongue.

We offer an attractive and flexible package of employment conditions:

• A permanent contract and a salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month (based on 40

hours per week). The exact classification depends on your experience and the role;

• Holiday pay of 8%;
• A generous mobility budget in the form of a lease arrangement of €1,022 with the choice of
• electric lease car with NS Business Card or lease bicycle or an alternative transport arrangement
• €930,- whatever suits your way of traveling best;
• Profit sharing of 8% on target (or OTB fixed amount, depending on the position);
