Role Summary

In this role, you will provide critical support to our mechanical engineering projects, assisting with technical documentation, site inspections and project coordination.

  • Assist civil engineers in preparing technical drawings, plans and specifications using CAD software
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to collect data and monitor project progress
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, authorizations, and correspondence
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and project schedules
  • Perform calculations and data analysis to support engineering decisions
  • Keep project files and databases organized and up to date
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed
  • Support the implementation of safety protocols and quality control measures
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for clients and management

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Specifically with HVAC or related field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques
  • Excellent reading skills of technical drawings and blueprints
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Brazil
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills in Portuguese and English (preferred)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to occasionally travel to construction sites in the region
  • Relevant certifications in civil engineering or construction management (preferred)
