Role Summary

  • Development and further development of rubber compounds, with particular regard to conveyor belts and power transmission products
  • Leading rubber compound development projects and participating in other R&D projects as a team member, as needed
  • Support for activities aimed at reducing the complexity of mixtures
  • Demonstrating and ensuring the performance of newly developed mixture concepts in the initial phase of industrial introduction
  • Research and development of new technologies and sustainable solutions for next-generation materials in cooperation with relevant functions and the R&D network

Contact with internal customers, laboratories, material and product industry, etc.

Support the creation and implementation of new processes and software applications

Requirements

  • University master's degree (PhD preferred) in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or similar field
  • Several years of professional experience in the rubber and plastics industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of rubber materials and related processing processes
  • Knowledge of drive belt or conveyor technology is an advantage
  • Project management experience
  • Analytical and scientific working style
  • Independent, innovative team player
  • Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in Hungarian (written and spoken) is essential
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, knowledge of German is an advantage
