Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team, focusing on banking applications , particularly in the payments and SWIFT areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and transaction workflows, with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements related to banking and payment systems.
- Design and execute manual test cases for end-to-end payment flows, including SWIFT message validation.
- Perform regression, integration, and system testing across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Validate data integrity and transaction accuracy across systems.
- Participate in UAT support and production verification when needed.
- Ensure testing aligns with banking standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 20022, AML, KYC).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the banking domain .
- Solid understanding of payment systems , SWIFT messaging , and transaction processing will be an additional asset.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and standards is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Prefferred experience with ISO 20022 or MT/MX SWIFT formats.
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is desirable.
- Prefferred locations: Warszawa, Gdańsk/Gdynia, Łódź, 3 days from the office
