Role Summary
Supply chain management / strategic purchasing in the automotive electronics sector is one of the fastest growing purchasing areas, as many new trends and requirements have to be implemented due to electrification, autonomous driving, software-defined vehicle (SDV), etc. Become part of our team and get to know the activities in a dynamic and promising environment. We offer you a varied internship.
You communicate with suppliers and internal contacts worldwide, take part in negotiations and get to know the purchasing processes.
Your work includes evaluating suppliers in the international market environment, checking the plausibility of offers, creating offer comparisons and preparing purchasing decisions.
In addition, you will support us in securing global manufacturing capacities, risk management, etc.
Furthermore, you are in the middle of internal interface communication with various specialist departments in an international environment and help purchasing in day-to-day and strategic business.
Last but not least, you will take responsibility for department-specific special projects (if requested and subject to availability).
Requirements
- Education: Study in the field of industrial engineering, economics or comparable with a business focus
- Experience and know-how: confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Personality and way of working: you are an independent and communicative team player
- Everyday work: hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days mobile)
- Languages: business fluent German and very good English
