Role Summary
The world of export controls and sanctions compliance is a dynamic field that requires constant vigilance and strategic thinking. Are you ready to take the reins in this complex landscape as a Subject Matter Expert and actively shape governance and processes? Here you will take on technical end-to-end responsibility for a crucial subject area and play a key role in shaping our global compliance strategy.
You take on technical end-to-end responsibility for a clearly defined subject area within our team and manage content, governance and processes.
You continuously develop, revise and adapt specifications, rules and processes based on regulatory changes and through ongoing monitoring.
You integrate and coordinate all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure transparent and efficient cross-departmental collaboration.
You create technical specifications for system and process adjustments and manage their implementation together with the responsible internal and external partners.
You define necessary control requirements, use feedback for continuous improvements and control escalations along defined processes.
You identify training needs and empower relevant stakeholders through targeted training content and support to further develop the organization and knowledge.
Requirements
- Education: Completed studies in business law, business administration, law or comparable
- Experience and know-how: several years of experience in export control, compliance or governance-related topics; good understanding of complex processes and relationships; ideally knowledge of goods classification and technology transfer
Personality and way of working: you manage to proactively advance topics and holistically manage processes from analysis to continuous improvement; you impress with your strong communication and coordination skills when dealing with different stakeholders and appear confident and authoritative; You act on your own initiative, find solution-oriented approaches and keep an overview even in complex situations
Languages: very good spoken and written German
*According to our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least EUR 121,000 for a 40-hour week (based on a full year of employment and fulfillment of the company's eligibility requirements). The specific salary depends on your job-specific experience. In addition, there is a share in the company's success, as well as employer benefits for company pension schemes.
