Role Summary

BASIC MISSION OF THE POSITION

Work planning, personnel management and implementation of organizational improvements and cost reduction together with the workshop manager. Replace the workshop manager in his absence.

Responsibilities

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Its functions are part of the plant's management systems: Safety, Environment, Food Quality and Safety and machinery maintenance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures in the work.
  • Coordinate the work of the workshop staff together with the person in charge.
  • Carrying out and monitoring preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of the machinery dependent on the Cold Glass workshop.
  • Analyze the results of said maintenance (breakdown repair time, frequency...).
  • Responsible for the proper functioning of all inspection machines, robots, packaging machines, labelers, baggers, etc. at an electrical/electronic level
  • Participate in the production change process
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure the correct management of waste in accordance with the signage of the containers distributed in the plant.
  • Active relationship with both the internal departments of Chosen, Workshops, Quality, Technical Assistance to Clients and with external suppliers.

Requirements

REQUIRED TRAINING

  • Degree in Engineering (Electricity – Electronics Branch)
  • Medium-HIGH English (fluent spoken).
  • Schneider and Siemens PLC programming
  • Awareness of Food Safety standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office automation (MS office),
  • Experience in multinational environments and in production lines of at least 3-5 years.
