MAINTENANCE WELDER - Porto Feliz/SP

Role Summary

Carry out pre-use inspections of machines, equipment and tools, before the start of activities, checking that their operation is perfect, in order to communicate to the immediate Superior, for the necessary measures;

Check the quality of the material received, checking its conditions of use, to start the welding process, reporting any irregularities found to the supervisor;

Perform cutting and welding services on various structures, following drawing specifications and/or sketches and using a torch, welding machine, electrodes and appropriate instruments, in order to comply with the determinations of immediate superiors and the Contractor;

Fix the part on the bench and/or in the workplace, starting the welding process in accordance with the pre-established specifications and procedures; Check and adjust the welding machine, in accordance with the project;

Finish the welded area, using sanders, steel brushes, torches and other tools to make cuts and adjustments, removing burrs and welding spatter, leaving the part in perfect condition for use;

Guide and train helpers in performing less complex services, whenever necessary;

Carry out activities in accordance with the guidelines and service priorities determined by your immediate superior, in accordance with the company's rules and procedures, appropriately using the necessary uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE);

Identify in the workplace and in documents, occurrences and deviations that arise during work and provide daily feedback for information and action by immediate superiors;

Keep the workplace, equipment and materials clean and organized in order to maintain good conditions of use, storing waste generated in activities in appropriate containers and locations, preserving safety and occupational health aspects.

Requirements

• Experience with tig, mig and coated electrode welding of structures and gas pipes, ensuring tightness;
• Experience in the position of at least 1 year and 6 months;
• Have welding courses: TIG, MIG, MAG and Coated electrode.
