This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair on electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures from 110V Single Phase to 34,500V 3 phase. Working with Automation, IT and network terminations including Fiber. Candidate will work in accordance with relevant codes and will work on a variety of electrical based projects.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow safety regulations
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools
  • Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools
  • Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
  • Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

Requirements

  • Maintain current electrician's NFPA 70E Safety identification card
  • Valid State driver's license
  • 2+ years' experience working in an electrical industrial environment
  • Understanding of leadership skills and strong communication skills a plus
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment repair

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee
  • must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbs. Physical abilities test will be required. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather
