Local Sanitation Service Manager Pays du Boulonnais M/F

Role Summary

Placed under the authority of the Director of Operations for the Audomarois Littoral Territory, the Local Sanitation Service Manager - Pays du Boulonnais will be responsible for the following missions:

Organize and supervise the proper execution of contractual obligations in the geographical area concerned, in collaboration with the Territorial Management and support services (operations, maintenance, consumers, local interventions, etc.), namely operation:

• wastewater and rainwater collection networks (>500 km)
• transfer structures (>160 lifting stations, basins, etc.)
• wastewater treatment stations (15 Steps including 1 step of 180,000 PE with incineration furnace)
• Supervise and lead teams in the field (37 agents including 4 Team Managers),
• Enforce the security policy and promote actions around security,
• Guarantee the proper functioning of installations and ensure good management of construction sites,
• Ensure compliance with the objectives of the quality and environmental system,
• Guarantee compliance with regulations (release into the natural environment, prefectural operating orders, self-monitoring, etc.),

Manage the operational performance of the service (monitoring and optimization of installation performance, the service load plan and its indicators, use of visual management (LEAN), etc.

Promote and use specific business tools and software,

Respect the budgetary objectives of the Service (in particular labor, subcontracting, suppliers, operating expenses and investments),

Ensure relationships with all customers (communities, businesses, consumers) and local authorities (police and water agency) and contribute to the territorial anchoring of the company,

Being a player in development in the Territory (participation in responses to calls for tenders, contractual amendments, billable work and provision of services),

Participate in the Territory’s on-call supervision.

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum training desired at Bac +5 level with at least 10 years of experience in a position with managerial responsibilities.
• Good general knowledge of all technical aspects of sanitation professions.
• Behavioral skills:
• Managerial skills, ability to unite and lead.
• Methodological rigor, good organizational skills, adaptability, autonomy and sense of responsibility.
• Taste of the field and teamwork.
• Relational skills with community customers.
• Writing skills, mastery of computer tools.
• B license.
