LIMS Implementation Support Engineer (6-Month Temporary Contract)

Role Summary

Local project support — serve as the on‑site point of contact for Project Manager implementation activities, ensuring alignment between the lab and global project teams.

Business requirements analysis — gather, translate, and document laboratory workflows, user needs, and process gaps; convert them into clear functional requirements for IT and vendors.

System configuration support — assist with LIMS setup, configuration, validation, and testing activities.

User communication & translation — translate technical concepts into simple, actionable guidance for non‑English‑speaking lab staff; translate user questions and issues back to IT.

Training & onboarding — support user training sessions, create localized training materials, and ensure adoption of new processes.

Issue triage & support — identify, document, and escalate system issues; collaborate with developers and support teams on bug fixes and enhancements.

Testing & validation — coordinate and execute UAT, verify system behavior, and ensure compliance with Eurofins quality standards.

IT liaison — maintain continuous communication with internal partners and internal IT teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position - preferred experience with ERP- like software,
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows or scientific environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain system related topics to non‑technical users.
• proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and any prior programming experience would be beneficial,
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ownership of tasks.
