Job description
- Location:
- Oslo, Oslo, Norway

Role Summary
Law that actually works in the face of technology!
NIS2 is on the way. DORA is already here. And Norwegian businesses need people who understand what the regulations actually mean, and what they have to do with it.
Sopra Steria is looking for legal security advisors who can navigate the intersection between law, technology and cyber security. We are building a unique environment where lawyers and technologists work side by side to help clients comply with regulatory requirements, not just on paper, but in practice.
What awaits you?
As a legal security advisor, you work with the regulatory landscape within cyber security. You advise clients on the NIS2 Directive, DORA, the Data Protection Regulation and national security legislation. You translate complex legal requirements into concrete measures that the customers can implement. Everything in collaboration with our technical security consultants.
What will the work tasks entail?
Your tasks will include, among other things, giving advice on compliance with NIS2, DORA, the Security Act and other relevant regulations, carrying out gap analyzes between the customer's practice and regulatory requirements, as well as preparing compliance programs and action plans. You will also assist with legal assessments related to cyber incidents and notification obligations, and keep customers up to date on regulatory developments and what consequences they may have for their business.
Requirements
You have a legal background or strong regulatory expertise, and have discovered that cyber security is where the law meets reality. Perhaps you have worked with privacy, financial regulation or national security, or perhaps you come from the Armed Forces or public administration and have seen the challenges from the inside. You are familiar with NIS2, DORA, the Security Act, the Personal Data Protection Ordinance or similar regulations, and you understand that regulations without implementation are worthless. You therefore thrive at the intersection between law, technology and business, and you are able to make complex requirements understandable even for those who are not lawyers.
Who are we and what can you expect from us?
This is not an ordinary legal position. You will be part of Norway's largest cyber security environment in the consulting world, where you will work closely with technicians, analysts and advisers. Regulatory expertise is in demand like never before, and with us you get to use it where it really counts.
- Are you ready to shape the cyber regulations of the future?
- Then we hope you will have an informal chat with us!
- Application deadline: Application deadline: As soon as possible. We select and invite candidates for interview on an ongoing basis.
- Sopra Steria has customers and projects that may require security clearance at various levels.
- Do you have questions or are you a little curious?
- Do not hesitate to contact Magnus Arnesen (452 48 494) or Anand Prashar (976 35 002).
