Role Summary

Support Worker within Mental Health Services / Support Worker within Learning Disability Services

LOCATION: Wolverhampton

Shifts - Monday -Friday, 08:00-17:00.

We’re looking for Support Worker within Mental Health Services / Support Worker within Learning Disability Services who are committed to making a real difference, people who truly care and want to build long-term partnerships with those they support.

The individual enjoys cooking, basketball, eating out and taking part in community activities. You will become part of a dedicated core team that supports the individual regularly, providing the familiarity, stability and consistency they need to thrive.

Working alongside two other Support Workers, you will have the opportunity to build trust, understand the individual’s communication and support needs, and develop a meaningful long-term professional relationship. Being part of a consistent team also enables you to see the positive impact of your support over time, celebrate progress and help the individual participate in the activities they enjoy.

Requirements

We want passionate, resilient professionals who can commit to delivering care without exception. To join our team, you’ll need:

  • 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting .
  • Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.
  • Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.
  • Strong personal values and ethical standards.
  • Dedication, commitment and stability.
  • A genuine desire to build lasting relationships and make a positive impact.
