Responsibilities

Development and optimization of training

• Analyze training needs within the organization and with customers.
• Design and update training, educational materials and syllabi.
• Optimize the existing training offer.
• Integrate innovative learning methods based on solid educational principles.
• Create inspirational materials (practical cases, videos, interactive tools, quizzes, etc.).

Digital learning solutions & LMS management

• Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (in particular via Totara – Learning Pool).
• Create, update and structure e-learning modules.
• Manage users, accounts, target groups and reports.
• Develop digital exams and assessments (via BookWidgets, Forms, etc.).
• Continually improve the user experience of digital learning platforms.

Quality assurance & compliance

• Develop processes for completing mandatory compliance-related training.
• Analyze usage data and produce reports for management.

Assessment and coaching

• Support the evaluation processes of training and trainers.
• Organize lesson observations and evaluation interviews.
• Contribute to the educational development of trainers (Train-the-Trainer).

Stakeholder management & support

• Be the point of contact for trainers and internal stakeholders.
• Support and assist trainers on educational and content aspects.
• Select and evaluate external training partners.
• Implement learning initiatives (newsletters, blogs, etc.).

Innovation and learning culture

• Ensure active monitoring of trends in Learning & Development.
• Proactively propose and implement new tools and methods.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and permanent development within the organization.

Requirements

• Profile sought
• Training and experience
• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Learning & Development.
• Experience with LMS systems and the development of digital learning solutions is an important asset.

Knowledge and skills

• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Excellent command of French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the other national language and English.
• Affinity with digital tools (e-learning, LMS, Office 365, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).
• Good analytical mind.
• Knowledge of the security sector is an asset.

As a Learning & Development Consultant, you are the driving force behind everything related to learning within our company. You implement the educational vision, optimize the training offer on a didactic level and manage online learning. You are the reference person in terms of teaching for internal and external trainers. You translate internal training needs into qualitative, future-oriented learning solutions.

You combine solid teaching expertise with strong digital skills and actively contribute to the development of a modern learning culture. You work mainly independently, while regularly collaborating with a small team and different stakeholders (trainers, colleagues from planning and administration, department managers, etc.).
