Lead Software Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Lead Java Software Engineer with strong analytical and programming skills. As a lead member of the team, you will contribute your expertise in building, deploying, and supporting algorithmic trading strategies, analytical tools, and scalable trading engine infrastructure. Primary Skills:- Core Java development for high-performance systems

• Designing low-latency, message-driven trading infrastructure
• Translating complex business requirements into efficient code

Responsibilities - Develop and improve trading strategies and engines using core Java

• Collaborate with global trading, quant, and IT teams to enhance the platform
• Work on projects involving new algorithms, technical performance improvements, and trading signal analysis
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Handle high-volume, low-latency, scalable messaging systems with cutting-edge Java
• Translate business requirements into code alongside BA teams
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure software quality

Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and development using Core Java in a UNIX/Linux environment

• Ability to analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into a well-designed and programmed solution
• Experience with Git/Stash and Jenkins
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit
• Skills in low-latency messaging middleware pub/sub technologies
• Experience in time-series data analysis in technologies such as KDB/q
