Role Summary
We are seeking a Lead SAP Logistics (SCM) Consultant to join our dynamic global team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality SAP logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with extensive expertise in SAP systems, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to driving technical implementations.

Responsibilities - Gather requirements from market-responsibles, clarify details with partners if needed
- Assess complexity of requirements and prioritize tasks from the central backlog
- Configure necessary settings and develop specifications to ensure seamless system performance
- Test solutions thoroughly and lead golive activities, including hypercare support
- Provide 3rd level support to address escalated system issues
- Create user stories by converting customer and market requirements into actionable system configurations and mapping specifications
- Collaborate effectively with the global team in a virtual environment, maintaining transparency on deliverables and outcomes
- Ensure delivery of connections in time and quality, adhering to pre-defined complexity and effort metrics
Requirements - At least 5 years of professional experience working in SAP logistics-focused roles
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in processual know-how for Order to Cash workflows
- Understanding of IDOC-types to enable data exchange for sales orders (ORDERS), order responses (ORDRSP), dispatch advice (DESADV), invoicing (INVOIC), sales reports (SLSRPT), inventory reports (INVRPT), and PRICAT
- Strong background in EDI and its technical implementation within SAP (IDOC, message control)
- Familiarity with project management tools like AzureDevOps or similar platforms
- Independent, hands-on mentality with the confidence to make decisions autonomously
- Team-oriented personality with assertiveness and an entrepreneurial mindset
- English proficiency at a B2+ level
Nice to have - Flexibility to use alternative technologies or systems based on project demands
- Showcase of implementing EDI-specific solutions in multinational environments
- Familiarity with overlapping logistics systems or technologies related to SCM
