Role Summary
Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards, ensure that the project complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Review the list of approved documents and ensure the proper execution of the final 'For Construction' versions.
Evaluate site updates and red marked documents by the contractor, collaborate with the engineering team, and assess the site's as-built documents.
Review and address any Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure compliance and quality standards are met with engineering team coordination.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination among the contractor, engineering team, and the site manager.
Oversee the civil aspects of project closeout, ensuring that all documentation, punch list items, and final inspections are completed satisfactorily. Facilitate the smooth handover of the project to the Owner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as lead civil engineer in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the energy or power industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local, and international design codes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
