Lead Backend Developer

Role Summary

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Backend Developer to join our dynamic and growing technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high‑performance applications using modern technologies.

You will work on complex initiatives involving headless architecture, containerization, cloud platforms, and CI/CD automation, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17, Spring Framework, and MySQL.
• Build and manage frontend components using React.js within a headless architecture setup.
• Design and manage cloud‑based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Git.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, managing environments effectively.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java (preferably Java 17) and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Proficiency in React.js with a solid understanding of headless architecture concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and Docker.
• Proven experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Good to Have

• Experience integrating with payment gateways, PIM systems, and OMS platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Experience working i.n Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
