Laboratory Chromatographic Analyst - Coishco

Role Summary

Knowledge of Gas Chromatograph equipment.

Classical method tests (free fatty acids, anisidine, humidity, solids).

Carry out sample collection in accordance with established procedures.

Follow established safety procedures.

Verify the calibration and operational status of the equipment.

Maintain order and cleanliness in the Laboratory and comply with Laboratory safety regulations.

Perform analysis in accordance with established procedures.

Prepare reagents and standards for analyses.

Carry out the necessary controls when carrying out sampling and testing.

Report the data and information necessary for the evaluation of results.

Comply with the Quality Assurance program and/or the controls established for the test method.

Identify nonconformities and propose corrective/preventive actions in the specific execution of their activities.

Apply, maintain and promote continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

Comply with the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Policy and the specific objectives of the area.

Comply with the Internal Work Regulations, Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct of SGS.

Requirements

• Graduate, bachelor's degree or degree in the profession related to the area you are applying for: Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Food Engineer, Food Industry Engineer, Fisheries Engineer, Chemical Technician.
• Good laboratory practices, ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
