Role Summary

Carry out chemical tests according to the methods applicable in the area.

Prepare solutions and work materials to carry out chemical and environmental analyses.

Request the direct manager for the required supply of materials and reagents for the area, in accordance with stock control.

Carry out verification of area equipment, in accordance with defined procedures and protocols.

Carry out and comply with the validity assurance program in the execution of the tests.

Identify non-conformities during the execution of activities and propose necessary actions

Propose improvements in testing and in the laboratory in general.

Other similar functions indicated by the Employer or hierarchical superior based on their needs and requirements.

Requirements

University or Technical degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering or similar.

  • Management of Analysis Techniques: Inorganic, Metallurgical, Environmental (depending on the area to which you apply)
  • Good laboratory practices
  • Basic guideline of ISO 9001 or ISO 17025
  • Minimum 8 months experience in the minerals sector
