Laboratory Assistant- Microbiology

Role Summary

You will be a fundamental part of the laboratory operations, contributing to the analysis of samples, execution of tests and assurance of the quality of the results. We are looking for an organized, committed and detail-oriented person, capable of working under high quality and safety standards.

Main functions

✅ Prepare, analyze and manage samples according to established procedures.

✅ Run tests and support in the preparation and extraction of samples.

✅ Maintain equipment, materials and facilities in optimal conditions of order and cleanliness.

✅ Verify the correct condition, calibration and operation of laboratory equipment.

✅ Ensure the traceability, integrity and registration of samples, results and technical documentation.

✅ Receive, identify and record samples according to defined standards.

✅ Detect and promptly communicate deviations or possible sources of error.

✅ Actively participate in control, maintenance and continuous improvement activities of the laboratory.

✅ Support administrative and operational tasks associated with the operation of the laboratory.

Requirements

• Complete secondary education.
• One year of laboratory performance experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques (Desirable).
