Role Summary
Comply with weighing, digestion, volumetric and gravimetric testing activities as established in the procedures in accordance with their competence and authorization.
Responsible for obtaining your authorizations according to your profile, before executing any testing activity.
Carry out, when appropriate, additional duly authorized tests, guaranteeing compliance with the procedures and strengthening their development
technical.
Report the occurrence of deviations from the management system or testing procedures, inform the main chemical analyst or supervisor to initiate actions to prevent or minimize such deviations.
Coordinate and execute mineral analysis tasks in coordination with the assigned work team.
Enter the information into the Lims system for the tests corresponding to the daily operation of AAQ (Geology, Metallurgical Balance, Control Samples, Dispatches, Thermos Analyzers, others) according to the authorization granted.
Carry out equipment controls to ensure their correct operation.
Correctly record information related to the application of procedures, such as: worksheets; control of the various equipment (scales, dispensers, burettes, AAS equipment, IR, etc.); sample reception, precision control, veracity control and trends for MRI and others.
Verify and comply with the sample tests corresponding to the daily operation of the Concentrator Plant (Geology, Plant, Control Samples, Shipments, Shipments, Thermos Analyzers, others).
Carry out order and cleaning activities of the material used and operational areas.
Comply with the provisions of the AAQ Environmental Management System, safety, occupational health and quality.
Carry out other duties inherent to the position that are assigned by your immediate boss.
Requirements
- University education: Degree or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Metallurgy, science and/or related engineering careers.
- Technical education: Graduate certificate in mineral processing, chemical analysis and/or related careers.
- Interpretation of the NTP-ISO/IEC 17025 Standard.
- Availability to work in an 8x8 regime.
