Role Summary

• Independent execution of experiments in the development of products according to the specifications of the development chemist
• Planning and carrying out laboratory tests according to CQP standards or specific customer standards
• Documenting the work with feedback from observations to the project manager or scientist and writing investigation reports
• Maintenance and servicing of the laboratory and equipment as well as ensuring order and cleanliness and compliance with safety guidelines in the laboratory
• Suggestions for improving work processes
• Replenishment and provision of all necessary raw materials and semi-finished products for laboratory tests

Requirements

• Completed technical apprenticeship (e.g. chemical laboratory technician, plastics technologist) or comparable technical training
• Experience in the production, processing or testing of adhesives as well as knowledge of different adhesive or polymer technologies
• Exact and careful way of working
• Good observation skills, interest in analyzing data and results
• Ability to work independently within clear framework conditions as well as solution-oriented and networked thinking
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to work together
• Basic IT knowledge as well as openness and flexibility in dealing with new IT and laboratory systems
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German
