Our Defense and Security Agency - Command is based in Chartres-de-Bretagne.

Your role and missions

Within a dynamic, human-sized team, you will join a close-knit technical team, responsible for designing, deploying, automating and maintaining in production the Kubernetes infrastructures which support the operational applications of the Ministry of the Armed Forces and NATO.

Your main missions are as follows

Deploy, configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE or OpenShift) in sensitive environments: nodes, replicas, autoscaling, networks, persistent storage.

Manage deployments with Helm and Kustomize — version, configure, validate charters for each environment (dev, test, preprod, prod).

Monitor and diagnose systems in production: Prometheus + Grafana, etc.

Optimize performance and costs: resource sizing, reduction of inactive pods, quota management, log analysis.

Integrate DevSecOps practices: integration of scans into CI/CD pipelines, image management (secure Dockerfile, image scanning, private registry).

Document and standardize processes: runbooks, ramp-up playbooks, disaster recovery procedures, cluster architecture.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an engineering school or university equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in the deployment and operation of Kubernetes.
  • You master Kubernetes in an operational context and use tools like Helm and Kustomize to manage deployments.
  • You implement observability solutions with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and have evolved in sensitive environments requiring strong security, compliance and traceability requirements.
  • You practice infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
