Kitchen helper

Role Summary

We are currently looking for Kitchen Helpers for several departments in our Airport Unit in Madrid. If you have a passion for efficiency, quality and teamwork, this is the opportunity for you!

As a Kitchen Helper, you will be assigned to a department such as Canteen, Butchery, Pastry Shop, Vegetable Shop, Halal Kitchen (and more!). Your role will be diverse, depending on the department you work in. Your responsibilities may include:

Assist in the preparation of foods specific to the assigned department, such as meat, fish, vegetables, canteen or halal. This includes cutting, slicing and portioning ingredients according to the recipes and guidelines provided

• Receive, inspect and store incoming ingredients and supplies, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
• Properly label and organize items in designated storage areas, such as refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Regularly disinfect work surfaces, equipment and utensils to meet health and safety standards
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks and other kitchen assistants, to ensure smooth operation and timely preparation of meals
