Responsibilities

• Identifying, qualifying and managing strategic projects from planning to implementation.
• Establishing and maintaining a national database of key projects.
• Ensuring the early involvement of investors, designers, consultants and competent authorities.
• Monitoring the status of projects, stakeholders, specifications and tender opportunities.
• Development of project acquisition strategies and plans for key customers.
• Ensuring the inclusion of Sika systems in project specifications, bills of works (BOQs) and tender documents.
• Collaboration with architects, civil engineers, consultants and specifiers.
• Promotion of comprehensive system solutions in the Residential/Distribution vertical market.
• Organization of technical seminars, presentations and workshops on specifications.
• Development of strategic relationships with: investors and developers, design institutes, engineering consultants, main contractors, public infrastructure authorities.
• Acting as a single point of contact for strategic projects.
• Support for negotiations and activities to convert business opportunities into business.
• Coordination of activities between sales, marketing, technical support and supply chain.
• Conducting project reviews and evaluating business opportunities.
• Ensuring that project information is up-to-date in the CRM system (SalesForce).
• Support in forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Achieving project sales goals.
• Increasing the conversion rate of specifications into realized projects.
• Improving the gross margin of projects.
• Increasing Sika's share in strategic projects.
• Support for annual business planning.
• Performing other tasks as directed by superior.

Requirements

• Master's degree or diploma in construction, architecture, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in building materials, project sales, specification sales or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of the Slovenian construction market.
• Experience in cooperation with investors, consultants and contractors.
• Experience working in an international or structured corporate environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs.
• A valid category B driver's license.
