JUNIOR OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR.

Role Summary

Execute, supervise and technically control all required plant operations assigned to you.

• Guarantee external and internal customer satisfaction by ensuring compliance with timely information deliveries.
• Exercise control and supervision of the staff that works in the operational area under their charge and control the expenses of the operation.
• Assign work, schedule activities, define parameters and operating instructions and deliver them to operators.
• Guarantee the delivery of the technical and operational information required
• Prepare reports on the activities they carry out according to what is requested.
• Promptly inform the Direct Manager about non-conforming products, complaints, customer claims, damages or any abnormal situation that arises in the operations under their responsibility.
• Ensure the proper use and maintain the good condition of the equipment, installations or inspection instruments for their respective preventive or corrective maintenance. Whether they are their own or supplied by clients or third parties, as long as they are in their custody.
• Request, and/or ensure that you previously have, the equipment, materials, work elements or consumables necessary for the normal development of the operation in your charge and ensure that their use is appropriate and efficient.
• Verify the metrological assurance of the equipment in your charge that requires it.
• Guarantee the accurate, fast and timely delivery of the necessary information to both internal and external clients.
• Guarantee the planning and execution of all operational activities in the area that correspond to you.
• Ensure active participation in the execution of preparation processes.
• Ensure active participation in the execution of the weighing and information recording work.
• Ensure active participation in the processes and records in the quality system
• Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits, scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
• Ensure timely attention to any non-compliant product, complaint and/or claim
• Actively ensure participation in the HSE process and other activities related to safety, health and the environment.
• Ensure that all officials under their charge make correct use of protective elements during the execution of work.
• Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area
• Ensure that there is the necessary technical support for the proper functioning of the computer equipment and the security of the information.
• Participate in the identification of risks associated with the process.
• Report any suspicious activity in the development of daily operations.
• Other duties assigned to you, inherent to your position. Related functions such as; Ensure compliance with all the services to which we are nominated
• Guarantee that all personnel have the information, knowledge and tools to carry out their duties.
• Ensure that the client receives information on time during the service and at the end by sending reports on time.
• Hold pre-operational meetings to train staff and define functions of each one, program through schedules for operations.
• Report and inform the immediate supervisor on time about findings, developments, deviations and reports before and during any operational service.
• Guarantee the delivery of the technical and operational information required
• Ensure and guarantee the proper use of the equipment and instruments assigned to each staff.
• Ensure and guarantee the participation of all staff during the service for our internal or external client.
