Role Summary

  • Develop all tasks related to the preparation of elements, space and environment required for testing and testing of materials.
  • Ensure proper handling of test samples and carry out tests in compliance with the technical and quality standards applicable in the laboratory for tests authorized by the immediate supervisor, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard NTC-ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Comply with the commitments acquired with the client according to the schedule received, and must inform their immediate boss of any news of deviations that arise during the process.
  • Complete all records related to the tests carried out and deliver them to the indicated official or superior, according to the established procedure and guarantee the confidentiality of client information.
  • Maintain the laboratory and equipment in optimal operating conditions, both technical and hygienic, to guarantee the safety of the work areas assigned to the position.
  • Develop their work within a framework of total ethics, which generates in the client, reliability and credibility in the suitability of the personnel who carries out the procedure and the results presented, which involves their obligation to

Inform the Immediate Manager if there are undue pressures, whether internal or external, that may adversely affect the quality of work.

  • Guarantee the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, complying with the Procedures, the characterizations of the processes and the Work Instructions that have to do with its normal performance.
  • Other tasks inherent to the position, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the company's activities.

Technical Knowledge

  • Authorized test methods
  • Basic numerical analysis
  • Knowledge of basic concepts of units of measurements

Requirements

  • Academic training: Bachelor.
  • Experience: Six (6) months of general experience in laboratories and/or projects, in positions related to quality control of construction materials.

Benefits

  • Salary: $1,040,000
  • Type of contract: work and labor
  • Hours: Monday Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 7:00 am - 12:30 pm
