Role Summary
Carry out sample preparation and physical, chemical and microbiological laboratory analyzes as assigned, in accordance with established standards and procedures; Comply with the Laboratory Quality Assurance Program. Manage the resources that guarantee the traceability of the results.
- Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and the security of information
- Guarantee the preparation of samples for carrying out laboratory analyzes assigned to you
- Ensure receipt of samples in the laboratory, for entry of information into the laboratory database (SLIM)
- Guarantee the tasks of the physical, chemical and microbiological analyzes that are assigned to carry them out
- Ensure the proper handling of all laboratory equipment in your charge and the execution of the operation/efficiency and calibration control tasks, according to the procedures established in the Laboratory
- Make the timely request to the Laboratory Supervisor for the necessary consumables to ensure the normal development of the work.
- Promptly inform the Laboratory Supervisor of any damage or anomalies that occur in the operation of the equipment under his/her charge.
- Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area
- Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of the work
- Guarantee compliance with the technical, operational, administrative and quality standards and procedures applicable in your area
- Ensure timely information to your immediate boss about any non-compliant product in your process or customer complaint and/or claim
- Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure active participation in scheduled internal and external audits
- Other duties assigned to you, inherent to your position.
- Participate in the identification of risks associated with the process.
- Report any suspicious activity in the development of daily operations.
- Implement and validate laboratory test methods.
- Validate and guarantee the results of laboratory analyzes.
Technical knowledge
Laboratory quality control according to the NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standard/ Knowledge in Method Validation, Measurement Uncertainty, Quality Assurance and Good Laboratory Practices
Requirements
- Technician, Chemical Technologist, Pharmaceutical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Microbiological Engineer, Biologist, Related Careers or Thesis Student of any of the above Professions.
- From zero (0) to 2 years of experience related to the position.
