Junior Laboratory Analyst

Role Summary

Carry out activities in the fire testing area, such as:

1. Guarantee the preparation of samples for carrying out laboratory analyzes assigned to you
2. Ensure receipt of samples in the laboratory, for entry of information into the laboratory database (SLIM)
3. Guarantee the tasks of the physical and chemical analyzes that are assigned to carry it out.
4. Ensure the proper management of all laboratory equipment in your charge and the execution of the operation/efficiency control and calibration tasks, according to the procedures established in the Laboratory.
5. Make the timely request to the Laboratory Supervisor for the necessary consumables to ensure the normal development of the work.
6. Promptly inform the Laboratory Supervisor of any damage or anomalies that occur in the operation of the equipment under his/her charge.
7. Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area
8. Guarantee compliance with the technical, operational, administrative and quality standards and procedures applicable in your area
9. Ensure active participation in scheduled internal and external audits.
10. Comply at all times with the implementation of the policies, objectives, plans, programs, procedures, standards, regulations and other guidelines of the quality, health, safety and environment system applicable to their work.

Academic training

Technician, Chemical Technologist, Related careers.

Technical knowledge

Laboratory quality control according to the NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standard/ Knowledge in Method Validation, Measurement Uncertainty, Quality Assurance and Good Laboratory Practices.

Requirements

(6 months) of experience related to the position, desirable in function ovens and acid digestions.

Benefits

Salary: $1,977,881

Contract: Work Labor

Schedule: Monday to Saturday 6 to 12 hours, day and night, depending on volume, sometimes it is required to work on Sundays and holidays.
