Junior Laboratory Analyst - Pesticides

Role Summary

We are looking for Laboratory Analysts to join our Pesticides areas.

The position considers the preparation, extraction and clean-up of samples of plant and animal origin for subsequent analysis using chromatographic techniques.

Among its main functions are

Sample preparation and processing.

Extractions using different laboratory techniques.

Preparation of materials and reagents.

Registration of information in internal systems and forms.

Support for instrumental analysts.

Compliance with quality procedures and good laboratory practices.

Support in operational and administrative activities associated with the laboratory.

Requirements

• Intermediate Level Technician in Chemistry or related field, with at least 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Higher Level Technician in Chemistry, Chemical Analyst or related career.
• Experience in sample preparation and extraction is desirable.
• Experience in chemical, environmental, food or pharmaceutical laboratories is desirable.
• Organizational skills, teamwork and quality orientation.
• Availability for in-person work in Vitacura.
