Role Summary

Perform the analytical techniques described in the company's procedures, with critical analysis of results, meeting deadlines, maintaining the organization and ensuring the safety and integrity of everyone.

Vacancy information

Number of vacancies: 01.

Work schedule: Monday to Thursday and Sunday.

Time: from 9:00 pm to 5:48 am - (International Project with France).

Availability to start on 09/08/2026.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out and supervise the different analytical steps, including weighing, extraction and homogenization, for example;
  • Train new employees and accompany assistants and interns in procedures when requested by the Sector Coordinator
  • Include the evaluated results, repetitions and additional analyzes in the system (according to the respective line of business), as well as record pertinent information;
  • Request the purchase of materials for the laboratory in the system with supervision from the Coordination, if necessary;
  • Assist in sending materials for calibration;
  • Monitor and guide Assistants, Assistants and Interns;
  • Review and create new documents in the Quality Management system;
  • Participate in a supervised manner in validations, regarding the analytical stages;

Communicate with the registration area (Login/Screening) regarding samples being processed, followed by printing a work map. Store these samples in an organized manner in the sector.

  • Assist in checking analytical results / critical analyses;
  • Perform proficiency tests;
  • Communicate any problem in the laboratory routine with the Senior Analyst or Coordination;

Carry out general laboratory tasks in accordance with the division of tasks defined by the Coordinator, which may include: preparation of materials (solutions, buffers, culture media, standard solutions), checking temperatures, validity of solutions and reagents in use;

Communicate the need for materials and the need for corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment to the Senior Analyst or Coordination, and when necessary, carry out periodic maintenance on the equipment following the manufacturer's recommendations and the guidance of the Senior Analyst or Coordinator.

  • Keep freezers, refrigerators, cabinets, drawers, shelves and countertops organized, keeping each input stored at the temperature recommended by the manufacturer (ambient, refrigerated or frozen);
  • Clean and disinfect the work area (bench) before and after the routine, following the specific procedure;
  • Inspect inputs monthly regarding their expiration date; inform the Sector Coordinator in advance about the expiration date and carry out disposal when necessary;
  • Use all PPE necessary to carry out tasks safely and in accordance with laboratory safety standards;
  • Archive documents in accordance with quality training;
  • Segregate and dispose of waste.
  • Perform other related activities, as necessary, or at the discretion of your superior.

Requirements

  • Behavioral skills: Commitment, good communication and interpersonal relationships, organization, discipline, pro-activity, dynamism, punctuality, flexibility and agility.
  • Required education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology or related courses in progress.
  • Additional training: Completed degree is an advantage.
  • Languages and expected level: Intermediate English.
  • Previous experience (type and duration): 1 to 3 years of experience in the area.
  • Technical knowledge: Knowledge in your area of expertise (Chemistry, Biology, Genetics and Molecular Biology) and your activities.
