JUNIOR ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING INSPECTOR

JUNIOR ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING INSPECTOR at SGS in Ate, Province of Lima, Peru.

Role Summary

• Carry out inspections and sampling, in accordance with the Inspection Order, procedures, operating instructions and SGS instructions under the supervision of the person in charge.
• Keep the Lead Inspector, Coordinator or Project Leader informed about the development of the inspection.
• Participate in the opening and closing meetings of the service.
• Preparation of inspection documents, if applicable.
• Inform the Lead Inspector, Operations Coordinator / Project Coordinator, Account Executive or Project Leader, about non-conformities during the inspection, in order to apply appropriate corrective measures.
• Compliance with the entry of the operating and/or travel expense report, as well as the service deliverables, synchronization of information and others, agreed upon in the opening and closing meeting, according to the agreed days.
• Prepare the report of monitoring equipment and vehicles, which present maintenance observations, calibrations, assigned to an inspection order, as well as ensure that all resources assigned to the service return in good condition.
• Participate in the 5 Minute Talks.
• Fill out the APR Preliminary Risk Analysis form before starting your work.
• Generate a report of substandard acts and/or conditions in Intelex on a monthly basis.
• Compliance with the 20 minimum hours of training on security issues.
• Participation of the proposed Safety Tools.
• Participate in the annual training program on Quality issues with the objective of achieving qualification in basic sampling matrices.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Technician of the following careers: Environmental, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or similar.
• Availability to work rotating hours.
• Availability to travel.
• Time of experience in these jobs of at least 3 months
• Have an A1 driving license (3 years min.) or A2b (2 years min.) Not Exclusive.
