• Position: Intellectual Property Expert
• Type: Contract
• Compensation: $90–$100/hour
• Location: Remote
• Role Responsibilities

Construct IP scenarios for patent prosecution, portfolio strategy, and complex licensing or technology transfer processes.

Build tasks across patent prosecution, IP litigation, trademark and copyright practice, and freedom-to-operate analysis.

Develop scenarios using tools such as patent search platforms ( PatSnap , Innography , USPTO PatFT ) and IP docketing systems ( Anaqua , CPA Global ).

Apply IP methodologies like patentability analysis and claim construction to US and International standards (35 U.S.C., MPEP , EPC , PCT , WIPO treaties).

Author rubrics that distinguish authentic IP judgment from generic recall.

Requirements

• 5+ years as an IP attorney or patent agent at a major IP firm or corporate IP department.
• Direct ownership of patent prosecution portfolios, licensing negotiations, or IP litigation matters.
• Fluency in IP tooling and methodologies, understanding of USPTO/EPO procedure and international treaty systems.

Preferred

• Recognized professional credential ( JD with bar admission, USPTO patent bar registration, or international equivalent).
• Technical/STEM background plus prior rubric or training authorship.
