Role Summary
During your internship, you will get to know the day-to-day business of planning and production control holistically.
You monitor the production capacity, independently carry out the leveling (smoothing of the production program) of the individual production lines and implement these into operational production plans.
In addition, you will support customer order processing and support the national subsidiaries worldwide. For example, you ensure the quality of order entry and communicate the delivery dates of our products.
Furthermore, you will work in the team and globally in English. You will work on your tasks in close cooperation with the interface departments in Lohr as well as with the national companies and sister plants worldwide.
Last but not least, you will work with us to continuously improve our work processes. You also have the opportunity to take on your own sub-projects and special tasks.
Requirements
- Education: Studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering, logistics or comparable advanced studies
- Experience and know-how: confident use of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ideally Access); Basic knowledge of SAP desirable
- Personality and way of working: you are an independent team player who values achieving goals together with others
- Everyday work: mobile working within Germany
- Languages: business fluent German and very good English
