Internship in strategic purchasing for turned parts (f/m/div.)

Role Summary

During your internship, you will become part of our team and support us from obtaining offers to finalizing new business deals. You have the opportunity to support our buyers in preparing and participating in annual price negotiations and helping to draw up contracts. With your analytical skills, you will contribute to procurement market research (scouting activities) and integrate the results into the global parts family strategy. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining and updating data in our supplier relationship management tool or in SAP. Finally, you will support a supplier or part-specific relocation project and gain experience in project management in an international environment.

Requirements

• Education: Studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, economics or a comparable qualification
• Experience and knowledge: Confident use of MS Office; first experience with SAP
• Personality and way of working: You are characterized by the fact that you formulate ideas clearly, work effectively with others, are highly motivated to learn new skills and work independently
• Place of work: The position can be filled at our location in Elchingen or in Stuttgart
• Languages: Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
