Internal Control Director

Role Summary

• Within the Financial Department and reporting to the Administrative and Financial Director Chubb F&S France, your missions are as follows:
• Management
• Lead and manage the team made up of 3 internal controllers
• Recruit, train, develop and retain the team
• Financial Control

Supervision of the monthly closing process and contribution to the validation of reporting.

Discussion and exchanges with the Director of General Accounting on the accounting treatment of risks and opportunities.

Review and validation of closing ODs.

• Preparation of exceptional entries (“one timers”), submission to the Group for validation and discussion with the Group’s contacts
• Privileged point of contact to answer questions from Controller Chubb
• Review of balance sheet accounts
• Be the preferred point of contact for those involved in the control of accounting and internal control (auditor, Chubb controller, internal auditors, etc.)
• Validation of monthly account reconciliations
• Internal Control
• Supervision of the deployment of controls within Chubb F&S France
• Sarbanes Oxley requested by the APi / Chubb Group
• Maintaining and strengthening internal control procedures in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley matrix, Chubb/APi procedures and operational needs
• Supervision of the quarterly certification process
• Monitoring and closing internal control points
• In charge of establishing, executing and reviewing agency audits Chubb F&S France
• Support operational staff
• Structuring and ensuring the proper application of financial internal control procedures by operational staff
• Support & communicate changes to procedures/rules to operational staff
• Be the company's point of reference for all internal control matters
• Project Management / Others
• Propose improvements/simplifications to be made to the different accounting tools, processes or methods
• Take charge of one-off projects (acquisition integration, processes, ERP migration, etc.)
• Business School / DECF type training
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial control & internal control including:
• Successful and significant experience in an audit firm (Big 4)

Supplemented by experience in a financial control / internal control company and in particular in the deployment of Sarbanes Oxley controls with team supervision

Our 3,000 employees provide daily local service to our customers (office buildings, industrial sites, shopping centers, hospitals, data centers, administrations, museums, etc.)

For our SICLI activity (marketing of portable and mobile fire extinguishers / R.I.A., natural smoke extraction, fire doors, fire columns, plans & signage, security lighting, autonomous extinguishing) we are looking for a Sales Manager for our agency in Wasquehal (59) (9 sales representatives, turnover of €8 million).

• Scope of the position: departments 59, 80, 62, 60.
• Possibility of working from our agencies in Amiens or Bergues.
