Role Summary

We are recruiting an Integration, Validation and Deployment Engineer to join our Defense & Security Business Unit, within the Operational Systems and Interoperability (SOI) Agency.

Within the SOI Agency, the Airport Local Control (CLA) department is responsible for specifying, designing, producing and deploying the control and communication system for military air traffic on air and naval bases.

Roles and missions

  • Integration of the system on the factory platform based on deliveries of the different batches,
  • Writing and passing integration and validation tests; the automation of these tests as far as possible,
  • Verification of performance and critical characteristics during non-regression test campaigns,
  • Preparation of configurations of deployed systems, in conjunction with operational users,
  • deployment and development on customer site,
  • management of anomalies: entry, analysis, resolution of problems within its scope, monitoring

Requirements

Expected technical skills

  • Linux (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Fedora)
  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Shell…)
  • Database (postgresql, elasticsearch, etc.)
  • Virtualization solutions (KVM/QEMU, VirtualBox), container (Docker)
  • Centralized and automatic deployment (Ansible, Boot PXE, etc.)
  • Anomaly/event management: Jira
  • Weekly travel is expected for this position.
  • With Bac +5 training, in an Engineering School or University specialized in IT, you have 5 to 10 years of experience in the integration and validation of complex systems with a strong software component.
  • You ideally have practical experience with IP data and/or voice systems, and are able to deploy these systems and execute test campaigns with rigor.
  • You are used to writing complete validation documentation and investigating anomalies until they are resolved.
  • Knowledge of air traffic control systems and/or the Defense environment is an asset.
  • With excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of service, you enjoy teamwork and actively contribute to achieving the project's objectives.
  • Curious, tenacious and autonomous, you demonstrate initiative, adaptability and responsiveness, particularly during interventions on customer site requiring a certain mobility.
